Case File 01

The Negro Family Coat of Arms

Above the shield is a powerful symbol of strength and leadership: a Black arm (braço de negro) holding a golden branched staff (bastão esgalhado de oar), signifying authority, resilience, and the noble lineage of the Negro Israelite family. The predominant colors of blue and gold are the colors associated with Israel's tabernacle for The Heavenly Father (Exodus 28:5–6 KJV). This heraldic design stands as a testament to the Negro family's distinguished history, rich symbolism, and lasting legacy.

Case File 02

Negroland: A Kingdom Hidden in Plain Sight

On 18th-century European maps, a vast territory across West Africa is labeled "Negroland" — a sovereign kingdom stretching from the Gold Coast to the Niger River. The word "Negro" was not a slur invented by slavers. It was a geographic and political designation for a people with their own land, governance, and identity.

"The map doesn't lie. The kingdom was real. The erasure came later."

Case File 03

The Negro Seal

Official seals were instruments of state power — used to authenticate documents, treaties, and royal decrees. The Negro Seal, bearing the profile of a Moorish figure, appears in historical records as a legitimate instrument of governance. Its existence points to a structured society with legal and administrative institutions that predate colonization.

"A people with a seal had sovereignty. That sovereignty was stolen, not surrendered."

Expulsion, Heresy & Slavery — Connecting the Dots

The Spanish Inquisition, the expulsion of Moors and Jews, and the transatlantic slave trade were not separate events. They were three phases of the same campaign. Those labeled "heretics" were expelled. Those who returned were enslaved.
